Circle of Sisterhood is on Pinterest!

We heard you! You told us that Pinterest was fun and engaging and that we should get on board! We took our time a bit, because as fun and cool as the ‘bling’ pins are out there, we wanted our Pinterest to represent us, who we are as an organization and what we believe is important.

Why Pinterest? We thought it was important to be represented on Pinterest and when we learned the stats we were even more impressed:

  • 80% of Pinterest’s users are female (comScore)
  • 30% of Pinterest users are women 25-34 years old (Ignite) and
  • Over 11 million unique monthly visitors (and counting), Pinterest became the fastest standalone website to eclipse the 10 million per month mark ever. (PR Daily)
We knew our fans, our sisters, would also be using Pinterest and we wanted you to be able to find us on the site!

What will you find our the Circle of Sisterhood Pinterest?
You’ll find almost 150 web links to information on our organization, the friends that support us and our grantees. In addition to that, you’ll find books that will inspire you, insights on philanthropy & fundraising as well as videos that we hope will serve as a call to action and illustrate to you why we are choosing to do this work.
We hope you will use the site to inspire others and gain insight. We hope you will share the content with friends and family. Pin, repin, share, post and comment! Click here to visit our Pinterest page or search for CofSFoundation.

In honor of our Pinterest launch, we are hosting our first GIVE-A-WAY for Circle of Sisterhood. In order to be entered in to win some of the new Circle of Sisterhood gear, repin the picture above from the Circle of Sisterhood Pinterest Page, ‘Our Purpose’ Board! This give-away will go from today (6/28) and we will pick our winner Monday morning by random selection! Good luck, and happy pinning!
